Run by the nurse with appointments available throughout the week

Undertaken regularly by the practice nurses and the doctors
Family Planning
Family planning advice can be provided by all the doctors and practice nurse either at surgery appointments or over the telephone, including emergency contraception.
Health Promotion Advice
Given during nurses and doctors ordinary surgeries to help patients improve their health.
Heart Disease Monitoring
Undertaken regularly by the practice nurses and the doctors
Maternity & Postnatal Care
Antenatal care is now mainly provided by community midwives affiliated to Hillingdon Hospital.
Once you find out that you are pregnant, you should self refer for antenatal care to Hillingdon Hospital. You can also make an appointment to see the GP to discuss any issues
All pregnant women and women intending to conceive should take supplementary folic acid available at chemists supermarkets (eg pregnacare)
There are standard health checks that are carried out after you have had your baby. These are:
- Child birth check: 10 to 14 days after the birth of your baby. The Health Visitor will arrange to come and see you at home.
- 6 week postnatal check: to review new Mums' health and general well-being. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment with your GP.
- 6 to 8-week check: to review your baby's development. You will normally be contacted to attend an appointment at the surgery.
- 2 year check: to further review your child's development. You will be contacted by the Health Visitor for this to be arranged.
